Accepted Items
JBF Accepts Items from all over your home with a focus on Baby, Kids and Teen Items.
Gather and Sort your Items
Once you have gathered your outgrown items. You will want to sort through them and check for Quality.
JBF 4C Item Standards
Items you sell at JBF should meet the 4C JBF Standard Test, which is be Clean, Current, Complete and Compliant.

Getting Started:

• Tape (For Tagging)
• Ziplock Bags (For Toys/Pieces)
• White Cardstock Paper
• Scissors
Optional Supplies:
• Zip Ties
• Paper Cutter
• Tagging Gun (Tagging Gun Users must Review Tagging Gun Standards Video Prior to Use)
Tagging System Supplies:
JBF's Tagging System is online and requires the internet to make tags. Consignors can use a phone, tablet or computer to create tags.
Once tags are entered, a printer is needed to print your tags. If no printer is available at home, tags can be saved as a PDF and printed later at another location or printshop.
Tags are required to be printed on at least 60lb white cardstock.

Item Prep
Getting Items Ready:
Clothing:
All Clothing MUST be on a Hanger.
Hang Clothing on the hanger with its hook opening to the left, like a question mark.
Pin Clothing to the Hanger, if needed to keep clothing from falling off.
Bundle Clothing, as needed and Secure pieces to hanger using safety pins.
Clothing Accessories:
No Hangers are needed for accessories like socks and hats.
Bundle small accessories together in bags. Display neatly so shopper can see them.
Larger Accessories like hats can be sold individually and out of bags.
Toys & Gear:
Bag Pieces Together and/or attach all parts securely to the Item
Tape Boxes and Bags Shut. When attaching Tag, ensure it is secure and that Tape will not damage the item.

Getting Items Tagged:
Clothing:
Items Should be priced to sell, but consider different factors as you decide on prices for your items.
- What did you pay for the item and how motivated are you to sell your item?
- What Brand is your item? Is it in High Demand?
Also, Keep in Mind: Consignors earn 70% on your Items sold and have some supply costs. Your price should absorb some of these costs to you.

Bundle Items: Save Time
As you are thinking about prices, consider creating sets or bundles. Put an outfit together, or a set of same-size onesies. Shoppers love it, and you only have to create one JBF tag!
Creating Tags:
To Create Tags you will use the JBF Tagging Website.
Drop-off Details
Now that your items are tagged, you'll want to pack items organized by type and size so that your Drop Off process is easy and fast.

Drop off Time is per your Consignor Reservation Selection.

Drop-off Process
Plan for 15-30-minutes to drop off your items. Longer if you have 250+ items to drop off.
Event location is the Eau Claire Expo Center (5530 Fairview Drive, Eau Claire). Drop-off is through the back door of the Expo Center. Enter Via the First Expo Center Entrance off Fairview Drive. The Garage Door is just to the right of that entrance. Someone will meet you there and help you unload and get Checked In.
Your first stop will be Clothing Inspection. Leave your clothing items here while you place all of your non-clothing items where they belong on the sales floor. Then, return to Clothing Inspection to pick up your items. You'll hang all clothing in gender/size areas on the racks.
For your Large Items, you will attach a yellow ticket to the items which makes it easier for shoppers to purchase your items during the sale. Once you have completed dropping off all your items, check out and receive you Presale Tickets.
NOTE: Consignors Selling a Carseat or Crib will need a Carseat or Crib Waiver submitted at Drop-off. Click the links below to complete your Waiver prior to Drop-off.

Consignors have the option at the sale to help with the Set-up, Drop-off or Breakdown Process and Shop More (Plus, Earn More) with our Consignor Plus Program.

• Select 1 or 2 of the Consignor Plus Shifts

Daily Drop-off
Daily Drop-off is Available to All Consignors after their Initial Drop-off on Tuesday
Here is how it works:
• Tag Additional Items
----Daily Drop Items MUST be tagged to go Half off
• Bring Items to the Event During Public Sale Hours
---- Thursday, 2p - Saturday 6p
• Check-in with Cashier Staff
• Team Member will take a quick look at your item
• Display your Items on the Selling Floor
See Your Sales as the Happen!
Watch your Sales online in Real-Time during the Sale via your tagging account by Selecting Reports and Sold items
Your Consignor Pay Day
- Consignor Checks will be issued at Pick-up on Monday
- Sunday Sorting Consignors and Donating consignors can Pick-up their checks during pick up hours on Monday or have their checks sent via echeck on Tuesday (echeck instructions below)
